The proven collaboration with the Americana / rock legend Eric "Roscoe" Ambel also finds its fruitful continuation in the fifth album release of the indie roots Americana formation ESQUELA led by band leader John "Chico" Finn with the fascinating singer Becca Frame if the trademark sound is kept as impulsive as on the CD entitled A Sign From God, the considerable further development of the band is a welcome big plus and a sure sign that the fan base should continue to grow. The defining constant in the ten new songs is the wonderfully balanced alternation of frame and Finn in the lead vocals - two extremely concise voices that have not lost any of their intensity even after more than ten years in the business
