Lead singer Rebecca’s splendidly hoarse and gritty, yet reassuring and captivating voice belts out the smart and thoughtful lyrics with extremely warm and comforting aplomb. The gradual tempos and syncopated beats chug along at a pleasingly relaxed shuffling rhythm. Kudos are also in order for the sweetly harmonic arrangements. Best of all, there’s even an amusingly sweet and folksy low-key humor evident throughout. A total treat.”
